Direct Response television is by no means a new fad in the marketing and advertising campaigns of the advertising world. DRTV has been around in one form or another for as long as their have been T.V.’s in the homes of the media watching public. Todays fast paced A.D.D. ridden television watchers are however a tougher crowd than those of “swell” not so distant past. As our morals and ethics have dropped, our trust of TV has fallen along with them. Todays TV land shoppers are a harder sell for two specific reasons. One: we don’t believe everything we see on TV anymore and two: its a recession. Okay, so two may have an even better answer, we are more often fast forwarding through the commercials that once captivated us….
